Wiki War
There's a war going on over at Wikipedia, and La Shawn Barber's right in the middle of it.
Nobody asked me for my opinion, but here it is: Wikipedia, indeed, is not to be used as an advertising medium. However, Barber clearly qualifies as someone of significance in the blogosphere, and thus Wikipedia benefits from including basic biographical information about her. Isn't that the whole idea: to build a genuinely comprehensive encylopedia?
The sooner people get used to the idea that bloggers can wield journalist-like influence, the better.
